87 and Registered in the year 1989 under the Societies Registration Act ,XXI of 1860 , has been in service of humanity for last over 24 years with dedication for the noble cause of Human Rights Protection & Promotion , Justice for all , Economic upliftment of the underprivileged , Education , Love , Peace , Harmony , Friendship , National & International Integration  by exchange of ideas & ethos among the neighboring countries and the people of the rest of the world.

AIHRA has the recognition today due to its efforts and association of Intellectuals, Philanthropist , Judges and other luminaries having contributed in a big way. Leading Personalities associated with AIHRA for the cause, right from the inception , just to mention a few , were Late Giani Zail Singh Ji - Former President of India ( AIHRA's first Chair Person ) , subsequently chaired by Hon'ble Chief Justice Shri. R N Mishra Ji , Late Shri. Kafi Ajmi Ji , Late Shri. Sunil Dutt Ji. besides many more luminaries. AIHRA has its representation today in all the states of India besides representations in the US, Europe & Asia Pacific Countries.

What is AIHRA ? - AIHRA is purely a non political , secular NGO operating with the support if its members. It is a Social Organization for the ignored , disregarded , over-looked , victimized , oppressed , depressed & tortured people of the society .

ROLE of AIHRA : AIHRA cultivates awareness with regard to the Human Rights amongst the people . It collects problems , complaints , grievances of the sufferers, as also highlights Anti  social , Anti Governmental activities and places them in front of prevailing Government , Administration , Police ,Courts or any other concerned body & fight for justice.

AIHRA publishes a bi-lingual fortnightly magazine , viz., “ AIHRA HUMAN RIGHTS “ , that raises voice against all sorts of evils & injustice boldly , simultaneously creating consciousness & awareness in the minds of the people , educating them to train their minds to be united. Through the medium of its written communication it alerts the Government, defaces and unveils the criminals and corrupt people.

AIHRA is affiliated to the United Nations and other National & International agencies. With its available resources AIHRA has been commemorating the International Youth Day , World Human Rights Day , World Women's & Peace Day , World Press Freedom Day  as also organizing different meetings , seminars , conventions , assemblies , conferences , cultural programmes , youth camps and judiciary camps.

AIHRA follows and observes every Act given in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, International Law of Justice & India's Constitution. AIHRA believes in developing Human Values well within the framework of National & International Laws.

Every person born, is empowered with three basic human rights : Food , Shelter & Clothing which  are covered under :  Right to Live. Anyone threatened to these basic fundamental rights OR has been a victim of any Legal / Social injustice can approach AIHRA for seeking justice.

Anybody, who has the burning desire of  fighting against injustice , is welcome to join AIHRA for its noble cause of Protection & Promotion of Human Rights. AIHRA is striving hard to contribute its best effort towards achieving the motto “Access to Justice for All “
